Finally got a piccy of mine to put up.

I just got the wheels. I know the RS6's have been done to death, but I still like them.

When I colour code my bump strips and door strips and get the calipers laquered I'll post again!

Oh, and lowered too, budget permitting!

Apologies for answering on behalf of Rudd... but his LCR was lowered on coilovers, as per his suspension guide thread that is stickied at the top of this forum :)

I believe over people have fitted 18" RS6's without lowering their LCR though, so you might get away with it. Ride height will be the same as standard. 19" wheels will slightly raise the ride height, but shrink the gap between tyre and arch.

They were 18inch x 8inch Audi RS6 replicas (orginals don't fit) pcd 4x100 with 10mm Forge spacers to clear the LCR Brembo's and fill the arch's

It was lowered 15-20mm on Bilstein coilovers....that was the highest setting available

I thought about a switch to 19inch alloys but to keep the rolling radius the same (i.e, so little things like the speedo still work) you need some seriously low profile rubber.

Doing 20+K miles per year that was expensive in tyres (as I was lucky to get 10kmiles for a pair of fronts) and low profile = very little rim protection.....that mileage is also the reason the car didn't go lower on the Coilovers i.e, I need to go over speedbumps and park in multistorey car parks etc

i'm sure rudd will confirm, but they are 18" RS6's as mentioned earlier.........was that the most sorted handling leon out there?

For great handling I'd recommend to anyone dropping the car 15-20mm and getting some nice chunky Anti-rollbars (25mm to 28mm diameter) you can drive the car everyday and watching Civic Type R drivers trying to follow you through roundabout's keeps you amused ;)

I think if I was doing it again I'd probably go Koni FSD's and Eibach springs with 25mm front ARB and 28mm rear ARB and a front strut brace....

The car looks spot on now fella,
it was a great car and it will be missed  ;)

Still is a great car! Makes me smile.:D

Treating her to a full fluid change and a new set of disks and pads at the weekend. If i can find my ruddy axle stands that is.

Next month is silicon hoses month. Pondering with the idea of a double din centre console so I can fit a touch "carputer"... not sure yet though.

Let me know what resolution you run and i'll make a perfect fit for you. :)

Jeebus, That's one shiny car. What did you do to it. Did you throw a bucket of tyre slick over it or something!? I want mine looking like that.

H'also, what BBS stylee rims were on that other red Cupra. The one that's pictured on a podium. I was suprised, but they looked awesome on the car.
