H3 though, not a prayer, never have they been fogs https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=h...5.1469j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

I dont care what autobulbus.net says, just look at them!?
Partsbase seems to be down right now but if you do a search for part numbers 5P0941703 and 5P0941704 which are shown in the parts catalogue as pre-facelift fogs, the exploded diagram shows an H3 bulb (and the part number for the bulb relates to an H3 one).

Whilst this is great for foglights, I'm sure the thread was looking for the whitest main and dipped headlights??!!:p
True, but if you're going to the trouble of whitening the headlight bulbs then surely you wouldn't want to keep the yellow fog bulbs. So I say this is "related" rather than off-topic :p

A good point and all, but you make them sound like teeth haha. Maybe we should contact Richard Hammond about which whitener to use haha. I'm not really bothered about the fogs though. I don't have cornering lights so my fogs are never used really.

I would like headlights to match the led sidelights without reducing output to small candle level, so am guessing that Osram Night breakers Advanced is the best legal compromise?

well you might be SF but they do look awfully mk1-esque, did they ever change them half way through the pre-fl?

I don't have a pre-facelift so can only really go on what parts catalogue is showing. With the absence of partsbase at this present time, below is a screenshot from ETKA for a 2007 (pre-facelift) Mk2 Leon...
