For everyday use with the odd blast then pagid discs and pads are more than upto the job and are great value. Euro car parts is where they are.

ECB discs and DS2500 pads. Don't bother with cheap pads they're a waste of time. I've fitted some at the moment as a stop gap and they are now where near as good as the DS2500. If you drive you car hard fit they're the pads you want.

If you're looking for the 'best' brake setup, ebay is not the place to look
Search as this has been covered so many times, there are links to sponsors sites with combos and prices, etc

I paid £130 for ds2500 pads and £35 for the pagid ones I have now and for everyday driving and the odd blast there is no different at all.

I just stuck with genuine parts from TPS when I replaced my front brake discs and pads, Brembo pads and VAG discs. Fair enough in the cost of ~£300 but I didn't buy this car thinking parts were gonna be cheap.

Well yeah I know that :p but at £300 for a full genuine brembo kit ain't bad, for example got a SL63 AMG at work for front discs and pads and the discs alone are £600 each!

That cars in a different league tho lol. It all depends on what you use the car for. I've been through the expensive brake set up and for my driving style and at a guess 90% of others on here, the set up I have now is more than enough.

Probably true however i opted for 2 piece discs and probably a good job as i managed to melt the powdercoating on my wheels
