Best all round tyre for Cupra R

Hi guys,

Only me! lol

My brother inlaw has got some falken fk 452's to put on. I'm going tomorrow to get them done in Bracknell somewhere then taking it onto the new SEAT,SKODA service centre in Camberley for it's MOT as they are away.

I think he has paid something silly like £59 inc fitting per tyre!! Stonking deal I think.

I have had a lot of high performance cars over the last 10 years and can honestly say Good year eagle F1's are about the best you can get for a sensible price and for alround performance both in wear and grip.

The F1 is just great- but I have found GSD 3's are not as good as the GSD 1's - the angle of the tread is different and they just didn't seem to give as much grip in my opinion.
What about the Asymmetrics - the new Eagle F1's ?
They are meant to be much better all-round, so better in the snow and wet weather.

Everyone is rating the Falkens highly, but I did read in a previous post about the noise the are producing. COmpared to any other tyre people are running, what are people's opininons on this??
