Re: Ben's Ibiza 20VT FR

few updates.
got a 35mm drop kit fitted a while back. im not too happy about it, the rear is rediculous compared to the front. I have a dispute in progress with the manufacturer through my supplier which isnt going anywhere quickly at the moment.
Here's some pics:

it has settled abit more now and the front tyre sits on the arch. rear is still terrible.
And the 3" downpipe and 200cell sports cat is on too. its amazing compared to the stupidly small standard item.
heres a few videos. just my luck, coming back down the road it pops like a bitch!

Thought id do a brief update, its been a while.
Supersport pulled their finger out of there arse and sent the correct springs for the desired 35mm drop. it looks a shed load better.
also, since lowering, ive noticed how far in the arches the wheels are. 20mm spacers sorted that out. Anyway, pictures!
before spacers:

the spacers:

and after a foam, quick wash and zaino z8ing all over this morning:

seatsport cooler is soon to be here, along with some forge pipework.
Thanks for looking.

Intercooler is on, forge throttle body to IC pipe and there new boost pipe makes up the top half of the piping, while the bottom was just a reducer into an elbow onto a straight run of silicone. nice and easy!
took it out for a quick spin and noticed a few more exhaust pops which is nice!
Looking menacing:

cheers! 0-60 is sub 6 seconds im not entirely sure, and its as economical as you want it to be lol, its 30+ mpg cruising about normally, but once you start to push it a bit, that drops to 20ish. i keep looking at diesels, but everyone says ill miss a petrol turbo!

i never thought much about that, the pipe looked like a decentish diameter.
the forge pipe is a great piece of kit, made fitting up so much better than some of the other fixes ive seen. car pops like mad now, im guessing it has something to do with the new pipework.

Hi Mate, liking the car! I'm pretty much after my car looking like yours when I've done with it. What Cone filter are you running? I'm in the process of buying one now.
