Apologies in advance for dragging up an old thread!...

I've been doing some searching around but no-one really says if the S2000 aerial gives better reception than a standard one does. Can anyone make any comments regarding signal strength differences between the standard one and the S2000 one?

I'm looking to maximise the gain through the aerial before I put an amplified splitter in (for FM and DAB).

Cheers ;)

I was going to swapp mine for a diddy aerial from an Evo 9, as i have one to hand in my toolbox at work, but tried several times to remove the original Aerial but it won't budge, have seen to the point where the roof skin is bending and still won't budge :(

It will come off, just make sure its unscrewed all the way, then give a firm hard yank up.
Would like to see gthe Evo Aeriel when its fitted :D

It's defo unscrewed and i can feel that there aren't any threads holding it, just what i assume is a piece of plastic, or maybe carbon fibre based on the damn strength of the thing !!
