As for actually removing the whole battery - is it just looseing the bolt that sits in front of it or is there more to it? Want to get some ducting fitted today....

Fitted the 100mm ducting today - blimey it's tight in there - but didn't need to relocate the battery tray to the left. :) Cover won't go on but not too bothered about that. Spent about an hour just cutting the lower airbox correctly so it would accept the ducting.

The LCR top part of the box is also all smoothed now and ready for when IHI is here.

I'll try to get some pics up this week. Used some aluminium ducting from BnQ that I put black gaffer tape over so it didn't "bling" too much in the engine bay. Doesn't look too out of place either. :)

Good man!

Thinking of getting some ducting myself and taking it from my BMC to the front of the engine bay rather than just to the side of the battery.

Hi there, really looking for some help. Bought my Leon and the previous owners changed the headlight from standard and in doing so have obviously removed the battery. When they replaced the battery they didn't fit the battery clamp. So now I have the car with the battery moving around and I cannot find any information to help me, nor can I find a replacement. Has anyone got any ideas? I was thinking/hoping maybe the golf battery clamp would suffice, but I don't know. Cheers
