I'm only camping if its got an en suite, flat screen tv , tea & coffee making facilities, heating and a nice big comfy bed! You youngsters can do the Bear Grylls bit, I'd rather do the Toby Grill
My idea of roughing it is largely the same as Andy's I think
I third that notion
I can get cheap premier inns through work so if this does happen could book into one of those.
