Finally got my motor back on the road after it tore apart the valves the other month, got a few teething problems, the car stalls when you let the revs drop, i think it could be the idle stablisation control valve but not sure, got an error code off the ecu:

Cylinder one recognition sensor, error code 00740

Dont know if anyone is familar with this, any help would be appreciated.

Got the engine good and hot just now, and it didnt cut out when i let off the gas, but it did idle quite high, about 1500rpm, and was a little jumpy, i think one of the belts, maybe the timing belt might be slightly over tensioned, anyone any ideas if this would cause the problems im having?

Sounds more like an air leak.

Thought i would try and drive home in it this weekend and it seems to have cured the problem, dont know how it has, and not sure if it will come back, but its running fine now.

no, i was in manchester today lol, there is one exactly the same as mine, bar the white wheels on my base, probably him

ah well this one had the white wheels. Spotted him again this morn while i was out washin mine... maybe another beeza addition to our street
