Hi all,

I bought my Seat Leon last weekend and when we bought it the drivers side rear door card wasnt on properly and the window didnt work. My hubby fixed the door card and we understand that we need a new motor for the window to work. However, the same door will now not lock! Earlier in the week it wouldnt unlock! Had a listen when pressing the lock button on my key fob and nothing at all is happening in the rear driver door.

Anyone know what this could be please and how to fix it?

It could be an electrical connection problem to the door lock module.
You should be able to remove the cover of the door card (not the door card itself) which will give you access to the electrical connection for the door lock module. If you have a multimeter you can check to see if you get any voltage readings when you activate/deactivate the central locking. I'm not sure which connections will produce a reading, trial and error should help.

If you need a new door lock module it will cost around £122 new.

I had a problem with my door lock module, passenger door - drivers side, had to replace it. I could lock the door though but could not unlock it via central locking.
