But would i not need the square style fascia from sere as he did tell me that there were 2 types of facia, the mfd style 1 with rounded edges and the facia for square style? Or could i just use the 1 i have already bought from him?

Also a seller from the US on ebay has got it for around £250 which isnt bad.

no use your mfd fascia with the adaptor in the links i put up, and be careful with ameriacian imports, they dont normally have rds on them, making radio signal go when driving !!!

Thanks for the info, if i can sell my unit, i will defo be going for this pioneer unit as the only thing i would need is the mk5 adaptor and the steering wheel control adaptor

With the MK5 adaptor, could i get the single din version and cut the middle piece out to make it a double din? Would it be the same as i seem to find these cheaper than the double din versions on ebay

I just had the stereo delivered this morning for £275 and have got the aerial adaptor and mk5 facia. Do I need the steering control adaptor and the iso block connector for the car or do I just need the one?
