Can anyone help!!??

I have a 2003 Ibiza 130TDI :D with the Alana head unit and I want to attach any MP3 player to it - I don't have an ipod.

Does anyone know of a lead that would go to a 3.5mm plug?

best option is probs the connect2 system which i believe works with any mp3 player, i myself attempted to use the cd changer input as an aux in but it failed as it runs off a bus, so connect2 is probs the best solution since u dont have an ipod

Nice one, I'll give them a buzz and see what they have!

Guessing the Alana is a pain from what I've read so far?

I've had no bother with it, I'm not sure how yours connects but if it's anything like the FR there is an AUX input right next to the handbrake.

theres no where on the Alana to plug one of those cables in.

i wanted to run my ipod through mine. in the end i decided to spend £200 and buy an Alpine headunit with fullspeed

halfords werent helpful, they didnt even have the Alana in there book just an old one for the old Ibiza and none of them cables would work. i just wanted a cheap option like your self.

EDIT:
nothing next to the handbrake on my car but mines a sport. presume its cause yours is an FR

There are sellers on eBay selling aux in cables for the Alana, they're about £20-25.

I've just bought a Dension Ice>Link Plus...I'll let you know how I get on!
