I use Ultra Deep Shine on my Ibiza, which I find is really good... I'll attach a pic.
I've been told it's more effective on darker cars, where you use Super Resin then Ultra Deep Shire, anway heres my results:

So am i right in saying i need to apply super resin first and then use the deep shine product?

The deep shine doesnt replace the super resin polish

I have used Ultra Deep shine on my Black LCR about 5 times since I've owned it (about 4months now). I get amazing results, and i don't bother with Super Resin Polish anymore, just go straight for the Ultra Deep Shine.
See Pics below of results (and this is before I waxed it)

Well i spoken to autoglym them selves and this is what they said.

If you use the ultra deep shine you dont need to use the super resin at all. They both do the same. The difference is that the deep shine has a filler in it and fills in all the very fine scratches, etc. Then to protect the car he said not to use the extra gloss protection. It apparently works against the deep shine polish. Instead if you want the durability so you dont have to polish again for 6 - 8 months use the Autoglym High Definition Wax

Brought my deep shine and hd wax and will post results when i have got round to doing the car

They have only released the HD wax so maybe they used to recommend using the extra gloss protection but now are instead pushing to sell the HD wax.

Autoglym told me the same thing, although I'm sure they said to use the gloss protector.

I have use the ultra deep shine and it is okay, nothing special though. To be honest if you go over onto the rubber round the windows or plastic round the aerial the white marks it leaves are very difficult to remove.

The reason you should use Super Resin Polish is that it has fillers so if you look at your first picture where the sun is hitting the paintwork it will mask a lot of those swirls.

I have never used the product myself but have seen cars that have used it. Super Resin Polish and Ultra Deep Shine are good products but I dont like the residue they leave behind.

I used the super resin polish at the weekend. Simply because i wanted to compare the results. It did mask the swirls alittle better than the ultradeep shine but nothing to write home about, what i did find is that the super resin polish is much much easier to apply and buff off, which is probably the reason it doesn't produce such a deep shine, IMO (i'm no expert by any stretch)
What i have tried to do the last couple of times after polishing is to apply Meguires Tech Wax, and the results are fantastic. Easy to use and produces a very deep shine.
I just need to claybar my car soon and then try doing this and see what results i get then.

I'm about to run out of my SRP and was looking at this AG deep shine stuff. thought the SRP was pretty good but wasnt too keen on it when it drys out and can be a pain if u get it on plastic.

Has anyone compared the Ultra shine stuff to Poorboys black hole? from what i can tell there are the same sort of stuff.

Does anybody use another polishing stage when applying this stuff either? At the mo i tend to go; wash, polish, wax. was wondering if another stage could improve the result.
