Auto hold won’t come off

Can’t figure this out maybe someone has already found the solution.
Auto hold comes on normally but won’t release the brakes when I’m about to move off
Have the car about the a week and the auto hold has been working grand but today it started acting up
I Can feel the car come up to the bite point letting out on the clutch and the auto hold won’t switch off
Car ended up stalling the first time because the autohold wouldn’t come off
Haven’t a notion if I’ve done something wrong or what’s the problem
Hopefully someone does
Thanks

Same is happening to me - 2020 Seat Leon had the car for 2.5 years. This last week the same has been happening to me. Frustrating when you want to get off quickly.

More so for me as a driving instructor. Pupils are doing 1 or 2 things. 1 is pulling the clutch up like you say and stalling wondering why it didn't set off. 2. is its bites longer than it should, so they are confused and put the clutch down, only for the brake to come off and they roll back.

I have always had the handbrake bit for 1.5 seconds and I explain that on hill starts. But the Auto hold has always disengaged smoothly before the biting point.

ONLY thing I can say is different, few weeks ago I must had had a stone stuck in the brakes between the plate, sounded like we were dragging a traffic sign behind us. But it went away with a few sharp brakes. Wonder if dust of debris has mucked it up.

Saw a post about a clutch sensor on the pedal? But can't find anything else.

Ye I have given up I just leave the auto hold turned off. Sensor would make sense if it was acting up. If you figure out what’s causing yours let us know.
