Got a really strange problem that maybe someone else has had (cannto find a specific post fo this though)......

The left hand speakers in the car cut out when I play a CD, but are fine when I use the radio. Have tried several CD's and still the same. Have had a parrott kit installed but this was a few months ago and the problem has only just started.

Strangely enough I've had the farting head unit problem, this has stopped now and since then the speaker fault has come about...

Warranty job or could it be Parrot related?

It's not certain CDs is it? On my home one I can't play the Beach soundtrack as it cuts out in one speaker, but it's fine on everything else?

I'd get the stealer to check it out though sods law it will be fine when they check it.

Sounds like the wiring is a fault. Check the connections from the CD changer to the headunit as this is the most likely to be at fault.

Or it could be a faulty Parrot kit as the auido signals are routed through it. One idea might be to disconnect the Parrot kit from the headunit as this will show you where the fault lies.

It seems that these head units are a bit mental...mine goes noticeably louder the quicker speed I travel. Think the gov has found an alternative to the GATSO!!! :)
