Yeah true mate. iam just sick of people having a go at me for spending money on my car, which is my hobby, it does my head in.
And also me and Mike dont get along to begin with so when he starts invading things that dont interest him just to annoy me, boils my blood.

See to most of us that's also lunacy - 6k on something you can fall off that doesn't even have an engine is madness to me 
Then again, we're not on his bike forums messing about.
Personally i think what you do is worth doing and definitely not a waste of money, better than spanking it on beer, holidays and pushbikes

Yeah cant wait mate, should be a interesting day indeed. I know how you feel, iam like a kid at christmas, but i still have over a week to wait and 16 hours worth of driving before i get it back.
Well as some of you know i dropped the car of at JBS.
Me and my dad had a good long chat with James about it, and he asked what i wanted from it. I said i would like a driveable everyday performance car, which he said was no problem at all, and i told him what power and torque i would like.
I said approx 370 BHP and 370 IB/FT, which he thought was very optimistic, he thinks more like 350BHP is realistic with 370 ish Torques.
He also said i desperately need a EGT Gauge, so if any one can point me in the right direction tha would be good, he said Zeitronics were very good, but i dont really want a screen as such, would rather have a gauge.
So what do you guys think too 350 BHP i thought that was quite low, considering on the website it advertises the GT28RS conversion as 400 BHP iirc.
Only time will tell, i will keep you informed as soon as i know.
But i gotta say i was impressed with JBS, not only there premises but there knowledge and helpfulness.

Hmmmm, i was gonna get a AEM uego A/F and a separate possibly Autometer EGT gauge but that looks pretty good.
Well i got a phone call from JBS today to say they were on with mapping it and found that there wasn't nearly enough fuelling, basically the S3 pump is know where near flowing enough, so they said i need a in line pump aswell, so there going to fit one for me as it would another 700 miles on the road if i was to do it myself. They are fitting the same pump as the 600BHP Octavia has.
But they dont think they can squeeze it in the workshops this week.
iam stuffed really as we have one car between us now and my wife works 30 miles away and starts at stupid o'clock so i have to try to get to work some how. DOH. I knew something would go wrong.
