Brake discs front & rear

I am a little confussed to say the least over disc sizes for the LCR (Jan 2004 model) Anyone can tell me what size (mm) disc diameters should be for front and rear and also advise on brand suitability, also which pads would be recommended . many thanks, all advise welcome. :)

What is there to be confused about:shrug:

British LCR's have always had 323mm up front with 256mm at back :)

searchy and all is revealed.
323mm front
256mm vented rear

Ultimax disks grooved and good value, combined with ds2500 pads and you get superb stopping

Just an update, put 10,000 on this set up now, no problems at all, pads look as if there coming up to half worn which isn't bad for £23! I've been more than happy with this cheap set up and will happily repeat it when i need to.

My LCR also needs new disc and pads soon. Can you tell me if on the LCR has the EBC pads caused the disc to have lots of grooves as per the galfer ones?

I have the DS2500 on EBC grooved and dimpled, and there awesome, just as good as stock brembo disks imo, done a trackday in them and there were no problems at all, they have'nt groved the disks like the OMP pads did to my originals...will buy them again for sure :)

Do Tarox do a 323mil disc for an LCR?

Amyone tried them. I have a brembo gt kit on my s3 as the discs keep warping, had them skimmed, warped again! They are brembo drilled versions ...I am looking at alternatives to go with some ds2500s.

S3 is too heavy when pounded..
get some ducting to those brakes..
2-piece otherwise req'd I think to shed the heat generated

DS3000's on S3's where LCR's are ok on DS2500's such is the weight factor

i went for the ebcs and ds2500 from you, bill and they seem ok on road so far.

ducting is a good idea too.

i'm sure my old s3 was suppose to weigh 1415kg while a lcr is 1400kg,so not a massive weight difference??
