well said rudd... I agree but im not prepared to be the EBC ginnie pig simply because of the amount of bad reports i have heard (and experienced!) from EBC! :(

however i know things can change so if someone did a great report then id change my mind more than likely! ;)

I'm starting to wish i hadn't posted this, i'd rather have rusty disc's than be Sh@fted by fixed pricing. To be honest the brakes or my car are going to be for show, it wont see a track and those that justify the use of brembos by on road driving run the risk of a few penalty points!

buy cheap buy twice springs to mind.
EBC reputation preceeds them on their others model disks. Hope this is not the case with these.

good luck tho. at the price they do at face value look appealing... but so do £25 mintex pads, but that does'nt always work out so well in the long run.

Worth a test tho to see... you never know, they might have got a product right :p

i've had my ebc discs on for a week with red stuff pads and i'm well impressed for the money only paid £211 for the lot as said before and now there worn in they stop the car from high speeds with no fade or much niose. I'll have to see in the long term what there like but fingers crossed the'll be fine.

well the disks are here as promised 48 hour delivery, very well packed, came in no less than four box's lol!! these really are heavy poor delivery driver was puffing a bit as she got to the door.

Quality looks as good as any disc i have ever seen and i've seen a few, would take some pics but the are covered in the anti rust coating.

I'm more than happy so far for the money these cost!!

Well I have ordered some EBC TG discs and Red Stuff pads for my LCR. I only intend keeping the car for a few more months so I thought I may as well give them a try. As I posted before, I have had them on a Sapphire Cosworth and did not have any problems with them - another big car with lots of power. One thing that is often overlooked when fitting new discs is making sure they are perfectly flat against the hub. If not this can often contribute to warping or at least the feeling of the discs being warped.
I will post updates when they arrive and are on.

Well they are on (after a few issues with the old stuff) and I think they look quite good. Nice to have colour coded pads!!
I will let you know how they behave as I have only driven for about 5 miles just to make sure all is ok. The discs have a coating to prevent corrosion so it only comes off the contact area. I will update when they have settled a bit.
See pics:

The first two are during fitting and the second two are after driving - you can see the gold coating has started to come off.
