is that oil any good ?
havent seen it before

Excellent oil ill only use the best oil in my car I was the same with my bikes. Tom and Darren on here are also using it. They recommended it to me and if its good enough for them its gotta be good stuff and there cars are over 300bhp

The Quantum 505.01 for the PD engine is the one to go for if you intend to change your oil every year like I do. The oil, genuine filter and sump plug costs £32 from the dealer. That's without discount. I am not a fan of extended service intervals and do my own servicing for a reason !!

Its more than acceptable for the pd engine

I just like using the higher grade quantum platinum 507 but still keep to 10k services :)

As long as the oil you buy meets the minimum spec of 505.01 then it'll be fine but as others has said using higher spec oil will do no harm.

505.01 was specially formulated for the pd engine and normally comes in 5w40s form.
