Are there Formentors without a rear camera at all?

Hey there!

I recently got a Formentor with hybrid engine. By looking at all its features, I have the parking sensors and even the park assist, that parks the car automatically, but looking at the rear of the car I don't see a regular camera, and when I engage the reverse gear, no camera gets activated and all I see is a gray screen.

I was under the impression that there were no versions of the Formentor without a simple camera system, was my assumption wrong, or do I have a fault in my cameras?

There are lots of them without rear cameras. There are also lots of them on out of date software that cause issues displaying the camera properly

What level specification is your car? Looks like you don't have a camera though.

You don't have a camera. You'd see it built into the tailgate lid handle if you did

Did you not check before buying. For example our Formentor is a VZ2 so comes pretty much equipped with everything. 360 cameras were also specd on ours.
