My powerflow is fine, did take it back after 6 months to have a weld redone (which they didn't charge me for) and been fine since no rattles or anything it depends on the place you go to I went to a top gear branch of powerflow. I have low sideskirts and they took very good care of the car. thing thats good about them is you choose what you want the sound you want to make etc... If its good enough for Performance VW I can manage :)

I have seen some good and some rather dodgy fitments come out of Exeter, Save on Tyres who are the head office. Lets say they have used rather a lot of exhaust paste.

Personaly I wouldn't let them touch my car and thats just from watching them fit tyres.

I'd save up and buy a quality exhaust

I'll second that one, bunch of cowboys,if u got a Saxo or a Nova thats the place for them, not for a quality Seat

We put a Powerflow on our Xsara VTS - purely because the old system was falling off and Citroen wanted to rob the same amount of money for a back box as Powerflow charged for a 2 box system. At the time, there wasn't any option - since all the continental Xsara coupes are 1.6/1.8/diesel there wasn't much market for a full system for the 2.0.

As for rating them - a 'maybe' rating probably would've helped!

They did a pretty good job on ours (RSR in Redhill) and it's not needed any work at annual inspection (for warranty) although they could've made it even quieter if they didn't opt for the lazy route of A-2-B which restricted the size of the back box.

I won't get one for the LCR - there's enough choice off the shelf to suit IMHO

Iv got a custom powerflow backbox and a pipwerx down pipe and decat, and i took it back to powerflow to have the silencer removed and replaced with some straight pipe. Sounds awsome, iv not heard another cupra r sound the same. Mine is loud but my god u get soo much turbo noise cumin out out the back. Ask danny_lad

It really is down to the fitter. The stainless steel is as good as any other, but the quality of fit, the welding, everything is based on whether the fitter wants to do a good job or whether they want to work off the fairly decent brand name.

Personally I wouldn't buy one, I'd either pay the full price for a milltek, or go the full budget route and make up a custom one myself.

could that be also it depends if the person who works for miltek etc is also in a good mood or good at his job ;)

Exactly. My powerflow is nearly 2 year old without any signs of rust. I think custom is best anyway imo. Not sayin the milteks arnt good because they are a good brand and ofder good service. Each to ther own at the end of the day, but if i got rid of my lcr and got lets say an evo, i wud go to powerflow again
