Right here goes!
the pro's
- Its custom made to how you want it
- Its cheap
- Its unique (or can be)
- sounds good

the cons'
- when they weld it on the weld splatter could dmage parts such as bumpers etc (as happened to me)
- no performance gain
- some times can be a bodge job

So i think that they are good if no one makes a system for your car as long as its done right, mine had the original mounts chopped and re welded so i coulnt go back to standard when i found out the weld splatter had f*cked the cat!

As they are made individually for each car, it is totally reliant on the ability of the fitter.
But even if they get it perfect, it will only be as good as an exhaust that has been developed properly, why take the risk?

Wouldn't let a powerflow fitter anywhere near my car. Just do a search here and just about any other car forum and you'll find oodles of people that have had problems with them.

Cheers for the input guys. What about Jetex? That's another one I was thinking of but only do twin 80mm pipes and I really wanted a big single pipe about 4" or 5".

I think the Jetex and Miltek look too much like the stock pipe, I have the Supersprint, its a very nice oval. Not too many options for the Leon unfortunately.

Some Powerflow franchises are better than others, the one in St Albans in hertfordshire has a good reputation but weather thats for how many exhuast exits that can cram into a Saxo rather then quality is another matter.

Each to their own. Just wanted something that would stand out a bit more and have a bit of grunt.

I'm also considering getting the Supersprint once the christmas bonus comes along. It seems like a good product at a decent price. Frankly i think the £1000 you could spend on full miltek system is too much. If i was going to spend that much on the car it would have to go toward an ATB diff.

I have seen some good and some rather dodgy fitments come out of Exeter, Save on Tyres who are the head office. Lets say they have used rather a lot of exhaust paste.

Personaly I wouldn't let them touch my car and thats just from watching them fit tyres.

I'd save up and buy a quality exhaust

exter branch caved in the sill on my cordy by using a hand jack to jack it up! - then just chucked the jack in the boot. :censored:

exhaust never fitted, knocked, sounded crap and discoloured.
don't do it - it may be worth the risk on an old nova, but not on a decent new car
