Hello all ive been reading up a few things about waste gate control and seeing as my n75 seems to be shot I was wondering how hard it was to wire up the Apexi AVCR boost controller? As ive been offered one at a silly cheap price, its not new but its all there. How hard would it be to get it to work with a revo’ed cupra r? As I take it its not just a case of removing the old valve and fitting the new solenoid?

got a spare n75 if u need one fella.

Im not sure how ud do it, somewhere you would get a fault from the lack of n75 and hit limp 5psi always if you replaced it.

I saw one on a Leon, very smart bit of kit and works a treat.

I think the N75 is still plugged in so the ecu is kept happy and everything else is done by the AVC-R.

It's next on my shopping list after the Peloquin !:D

you only get 5psi because its running off the wastegate pressure, you put the Apexi or some other BCV before the wastegate and you can run whatever pressure you like, not sure that the ECU will be to happy though.

You could find that although its running the boost you want they fuelling might not be right because its trying to run the limp map but has no control over the boost if you get what I mean?

As baz said you could leave the N75 connected only not plumbed in but the ECU might still throw a bit of a wobbly if the actual boost is different to whats requested by the remap
