After having my Eliminator DV fitted for two years I decided to change the seals and service it. I contacted Forge about this to be told they didn't do seals for these anymore and don't make these any more. The guy said that instead of getting me seals (which they still have) they would send me a whole new DV. It was the 007p that they said they would give me which I though was a downgraded version to the Eliminator.
When I asked why they wanted to replace this I was told that they had stopped making the Eliminator due to the possibility of the diaphram exiting the DV and smashing through the Turbo!!!!!
EHHH excuse me???? Am I the last person to find out about this??
Anyway, they are sending me a new 007p that I will be replacing ASAP
So if you don't have it changed yet and your not a betting man then get intouch with Forge ASAP.
BTW they were very helpful and a new DV is on its way to me as we speak

Hopefully I don't have to find out
But yup it begs the question. they have left theirselves well open as the service details state that it only needs serviced every 30,000 miles.
Surely they would have contacted forums like this one to warn all possible users??

I had a similer issue, where my forge 007pa failed, where the plastic diaphram failed and a peice of it got stucked into the intake. Forge then replaced my DV with 007p. :D

Should be a notice on their website in big red writing informing existing owners. Word would soon spread and the issue would be sorted in no time.

Thats not what Forge said
And this has destroyed someones turbo so don't think they would own up to this if it didn't happen

I have heard several years ago of one being eaten by the motor... none the wise aside from the DV not actually working... Go figure.

best to avoid tho imho like Forge say... never liked em or used diaphragm valves myself.
