All depends how much power you want to run really and ultimately what your budget is.

Many people are running that intercooler on K03S applications, circa 230-240 BHP. That said, I haven't seen any logs to comment myself

I do think too many people underestimate the importance of a good intercooler though and what goes into making one - it's not all about core sizes and intake temps, there's much more too it than that.

i personally only want 220/230bhp as i use car everyday 30miles, want it realiable aswell. i think universal job is the way for me. cheers

you have laguna set up,ebay cooler and ths cooler they are around 200-300£
then you got pro alloy and forge thats cost abit more

ebay cooler works just great to a ko3s turbo if oyu are going hybrid some time the forge and pro alloy

i had the same question to ask myself! but ive decided im not gonna take this car past the ko3s stage, as i want to get an s3 next! so for me the power i wanted and the price i could afford that was perfect!

i had the ths type 1 on my red cupra running a k03's with all other goodies it worked fine.

must say the forge one one my k04 set up looks alot nicer, but 200 - 250 for uni or fordge for 700

i know were and what id buy

are they that easy to fit and good quality? well for the money?

as folk say if like my self your going no more than ko3s mabie abit more then they are fine as for fitting them not the easiest thing in the world depending on how you fit it if you hang it off the crash bar ,bumper triming will be needed for sure or if like me you make some brckets up to hang it a bit further back you can get away with no trimming at all....altho i have now booked my car in at the body shop for the week end just to have 10mm taken off the top of the middle bar because its just catching slighty....i think this kits looks awesome when fitted
