yeah i just ordered some liqui moly diesel purge which is apparently good stuff but i always use millers eco max, the injectors have done 130k so i think its time for a recalibration or ultrasonic clean , more expense

i have been in touch with 2 companies now , diesel bob says £115+ vat and united diesel £140-160+ vat to recondition each injector with genuine parts ,has anyone used or heard off diesel bob ? its a good bit cheaper if i need all 4 reconditioning which with my luck i will

bit of an update , my injectors are at diesel bob they have been tested and are 10 -15 mg down on flow at higher revs but are Ok at normal revs so i don't know if they need reconditioning or if its a waste how much of a difference is 15mg of fuel at high revs or under load ?

thanks

he said between £105 and £118 plus vat each to recondition them the lower if they set up easily after they are put back together thats with new seals , he said it won't make it use less diesel with them done just more power when i put my foot down

hi another little update, i got my injectors back and fitted after a full recondition and it hasn't made a lot of difference really it does feel as if it has more torque at low revs but still has a slight judder under load in high gears which i put down to a old dmf,

today on a run to the coast 120 miles there and back i only managed 45 mpg driving slowly to try to creep my mpg up which i still feel is a bit low

so maybe thats just how its going to be i don't know ? its had all the money its getting for now apart from the allard egr delete i just ordered but i can't see it making any difference because mine is clean and blanked off

i will add more if i find anything

I'm going to adjust your remap file and send you back one.

It will gain you mpg and keep the power and i will also try reduce your judder at high load @low rpm without loosing any noticable torque

hi , today i plugged the car in to vcds and looked at the idle stabilization and it seems my injectors are worse than before no 1 is -0.8 number 2 is 0.5 number 3 is -2.57 and number 4 is +2.96 which is out of speck no 3 and 4 are way out could that be because the plunge depth is slightly out on those ? i need to ring diesel bob but need to wait till tuesday now
