Another LCR in Limp on Cold Start

Glad you got sorted Si, Dan who did your map is a good lad, and Simon who owns the company is a top dude, their customer service is top level, any problems and they sort it, The guy who writes and mods their files has been in the game, of writing code for 19 years (peter in germany), and actually writes it and more importantly understands it

Btw 202 g/s @ 1.45 bar boost is as good as you will get, to run any more you need 1.55 bar (even this pushes K04 effiencey) or a bigger turbo.........................

Yep, hadn't heard of them, so I thought that there would be no chance (assumptions, assumptions). Even with some of the big boys, raising the IAT values takes some doing/commitment. Although, I understand it was well documented on the German scene.

Ok, to conclude this thread and this common issue with mapped LCRs that the Turbo shuts down / enters Limp mode is the IAT (Intake Air Temp) values in the map need to be increased. If this happens to you, advise your mappers to raise these values from the stock code.

I had another cold start this morning, 1.5*C and the car was perfect!

Si 202 g/s is good, my old LCR did 250-255 bhp on 5/6 different rolling roads or times, it always pulled consistantly 190-195 g/s FYI on an APR 98 ron optimax map..............I assure you you are running 265 bhp ( of the non bullsh*t kind) to get anymore seriously reqiures a bigger turbo end of!!!!!, you can sneak a few bhp here and there with a few other mods, FMIC will keep the power there more of the time and in the summer too

once again i am casting up a very very old thread but looks like once again cupranet has helped me out. going to get onto my mapper and see if this sorts the problem

sorry to bring up an old thread here has anyone got any other information on this? after finding this thread I spoke to my mapper about the IAT values and he says it's already been done on my car. I have the same symptoms as everyone else here.
