Another guage question?

Just been and got a auto guage boost guage and oil temp guage from Halfords this morning and done lots of searching so now am happy about fitting them. The question is the auto guages are said to be 7 different colours to match the dash lights and seen few pics on the forum and they look quite good but in the leaflet that comes with them it just say's "install light in the socket on the rear of the guage and connect wire to the instrument lighting circuit or other power source".
Not sure what this means so how do you change the colour to match your dash?
Any help would be appreciated and sorry for probably being a dumbo! Lol.

I'v wired all the wires except the earth up to a live feed, It does'nt keep a memory of what colour to stay on but you only have to press the button on the face to change it.

One of the wires need a permanent 12v for it to remember the colour, after you remove the keys.

Top row of the fuse board is a constant 12v.

I,ve been digging around here all day and found that if you wire the yellow wire to a permenant live then it remembers the colour.

to change the colours to match the dash push /click the black pin sticking out front of gauge this will flick threw all colours mate!! make sure you wire it right ,and get he boost needle to light!! cheers

Thanks mate. Found a guide now so should be ok with wire connections. Or will be back crying! Lol.
