right, just been back onto the phone to VW, good job you wrote that last post, otherwise id have the wrong parts now, the arm and blade for a mk5 polo gti came to £19 and will be with me friday, if anyone else is doing this, you need to tell them its of a GTI and not just a mk5 like i did :0

So you got the Polo ones for the front, are they different to the Lupo ones? Mk5 Golf for the rear?

no, didnt get anything for the front, got a mk5 polo gti aero arm and blade for the back, picking it up on friday

Ah, so the Polo arm fits as well does it, i've just asked for a quote on Lupo front arms, wipers and caps and a MK5 Golf rear. Just waiting for them to call me back.

The bosch aero wipers fit directly on the cupra.
These're the a553s wipers, ya dont need to trim them down. Take a good look at the distance of the wipers, 1 is short other is long. And place them in the good order. Just 5 min. work.

THats true, i've fitted them yesterday. Perfect and easy fit. Only con is that at the passenger side the last cm is off the window. You have to look twice to actualy see it. These wipers look and wipe much better then the standard Seat crap

Ok got my quote through from VW and for the front and back they are quoting £110 in total. Sounds reasonable from what i've been reading.

Matey at VW said did i not want to try the Polo rear wiper as he thinks that will fit better, so.....

David, have you managed to fit your rear wiper yet? Any good?

I think the polo rear is a lot more commonly fitted to the ibiza than the golf rear IIRC

Just fitted the MK5 polo arm and wiper to my car, i forgot to get the bloody plastic cap though over the nut, the cupra one doesnt fit on - DOH will have to get one when i have a spare 5 mins

P.S can someone also please check that it is the aero rear wiper that every talks about, not sure what they were meant to look like

Looks more stylish than the current rear wiper. I'll be ordering mine on Monday i think...
