As some of you may remember i used to own a MK1 Leon Cupra, but since i got rid of that nearly 3 years ago, ive been after another Leon, this time i have a MK2 FR. I've just got a few photos here to get started, ive already ordered a few things to get me started, although small stuff.

Wind Deflectors to be added next week, and also might think about removing the 'leon' from the rear. hope you all like... and more to come!

Yeah nice car, I have a fr too. Different colour though. Mines black.

What plans have you got. I've got the same wheels as you and although I'm going to change them I've got used to how they look.

I've got the same car bar the alloys. What I think would look good (just too lazy to do anything) is to make the yellow stripe part below the front number plate black. I've had a play on photshop and think it looks nice :)

You going to be lowering it?

EDIT: Also, the front FR badge, is that custom?

sorry for the late reply mate, ive had problems with BT! and no internet..

im not planning on lowering it at the minute, and i've not really thought about the yellow strip going black, but i am very keen on getting some smoked/tinted rear lights. I had some on my old Leon Cupra and thought it made a massive difference. The next step would then probably be to go for an alloy refurb (black).

Cars back in tomorrow to hopefully get sorted, and I've just ordered some night breakers... I might rebadge the rear tomorrow when it comes back too. Has anyone done it?

Debadge sorry not rebadge!

Not a fan of de badged cars myself tbh! I'm getting my alloys refurbished into Anthracite on Monday :) I've always wondered whether to get an FR badge on the front, but I cant decide whether I like it or not.

I'm also pondering on getting the wing mirrors wrapped to match the alloys, can't decide!

(Btw, I'm M6 Jct 17 so not far away either).

I'm right by Jct 16 so not far at all haha.. I debadged my old leon and liked it so going go for it I think.

Where are you going for refurb? You'll have to keep me posted if they're any good etc.

Someone called Wheelfix, done few of my mates as well and does a good job. It's a mobile service, but my alloys are just scuffed, nothing major. I'm getting it for the recoat tbh! Will get some pictures up when they're done.

EDIT: Do you drive around Sandbach at all? Seen a yellow Leon before now drive through there haha.

That sounds good, did he give any idea how long it takes? I think I'm going paint my calipers at the weekend, just can't decide what colour.

I haven't drove there in my leon, only had it 3 weeks.

It's easy to take the grill of pops of the 2 black fixings and push from the bottom and pull the top, the sliver bit unclips.
