They already tried the SportHatch in 2005/06 and it was rubbish. Poor aerodynamics, too hard on it's tyres, not that powerful and just a generally poor car from a team that had a reputation for making excellent cars. Even they couldn't get their heads round how to get it working. They changed a lot of the staff for 2006, but that didn't make any difference. There is an S2000 version of the Astra from Sweden, but I don't think that was a world beater either. I expect an Insignia for 2010, if VXR are still in it anyway........
