Hi,
I've fitted a JVC XR-811 head unit to my MKII Seat Leon and am now suffering from poor radio reception which is indicative of the aerial amplifier not being powered properly now.
I've used a Autoleads PC5-136 aerial adaptor with the fakra line wired into the ISO pin 5 output from the head unit which I believed should power the aerial. Before I go taking it apart again to check connections, does anyone have any idea of where I've gone wrong?
Should I be using a PC5-137 adaptor instead or is the PC5-136 the right one? am I right in wiring the fakra line to ISO pin 5 or do I need to do something else?
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated
