IF i buy a four chanel am p can i have all my speakers and tweaters plugged into it and would need a 5 channel for a sub too or could I use a 4 channel for everything ? Thinking on buying the rainbow i-paul 4 channel amp.

You can use a 4channel to have 4 speakers + sub, but the sub won't be playing right.

Are you using the standard headunit?

you can run 2 speakers and a sub off that amp... but if you want to run seperate tweeters i would recommend using passive crossovers or to use coxial speakers...whatever you fancy,

You will need a 4 channel amp mate

channel 1 and 2 will run the left and right upfronts and then bridge channel 3 and 4 to power the sub

job done :)

if your going to go through with the hassle of upgrading your speakers i would personally get 2 sets of component speakers for the doors + 4 channel amp to run them, then get 1 or 2 12" subs with a mono amp (best make sure your headunit can has enough pre-outs though) if it can't i would get a 5 channel amp and run all speakers off it, what headunit do you have?
