Altea XL 2010 - cabin blower not working

Hi, looking to be pointed in the right direction, any assistance appreciated. Cheers

Car (Altea XL SE CR 1.6 TDI ECO 2010) sat for a week doing nothing. On return the blower isn't working on any setting. Car has climate control with auto / dual side and the panel control unit with six or seven fan settings set by +/- buttons and the red LED that moves along.

The fuses that I've looked at in the cabin seem ok.

Have the blower motor out of the car at the moment. Its a Valeo serial number F997167J. It has a resistor pack (or some other unit) bolted directly to it (serial number 3CO 907 521 F / Valeo 997164W). When measuring across the terminals on the resistor pack that the blower motor connector plugs into it reads 14.4 V on any fan setting, and when the climate control is turned off the voltage slowly reduces. I can't put 12 V directly to to the motor as don't have cables at hand.

Anyone else had this? New blower unit or resistor pack?
