Altea 2.0L TDi 140 DSG Tyres?

Hi All,

Need to replace the front tyres on a Altea 2.0L TDi 140 DSG.

Some other threads suggest I should only replace with XL tyres with a higher load index due to the heavier weight. Is this essential? Are original fitment tyres XL?

Can anyone advise!

Also does anyone have a tyre recommendation!

for the 2.0 TDI yes the front end is very heavy XL or Re-enforced, I think mine are 94w (i think). recommendations comes with what sort of price you willing to pay

C11PRA DC.....I've just had 225/50/ZR17 98Y P Zero's on the front and they're quiet and grippy.
Still got the P Zero 94W on the back but better to have the reinforced ones on the front because of the weight...
