Altea 1.6

Well for 2 days I had one of these bad boys and what can I say, I felt like a dad, this thing is huge. Not sure of the spec of this one but the seats were really sporty and the dash looked good.

BUT that the hell is the 1.6 about, why would anyone buy one of these with that in it, it was slow for one thing and really had to give it the beans to get it going and 2 it drank fuel!!! I couldn't get any better than 32mpg even with the cruise control

Apart from the fuel problem I would it was a really funky car. Loads of room. Good ride and looks not to bad.

I really like the alteas, ive had a few altea courtesy cars myself, albeit 1.9TDi Stylances so plenty of kit on them and a good engine too.

If i had to have a family car, an Altea would be my choice

Quiete like the look of these, but gotta go for TDI really, espec if it's to carry people and luggage.

Defo go for TDi, all you would ever do it fill it up with the 1.6 lol
