No MrBen, I bought it from CarAudioSecurity and in the past I have had no problems with them. I'm awfully confused by this, I cannot see where I'm going wrong and I'd prefer not to take it to an installation company because of the fees.

Hmm that's odd
Can you post a pic of the loom up and I'll see if it's the same as mine
My headunit was plug and play I had no problems at all

Here's the pictures as requested buddy.

First off is the headunit, how I have set it up. The pink and blue/white cables didn't have anywhere to connect to so they have been put to one side.

Next up are the speaker loom and ignition loom (on the right) - The colours don't look right.

This is how the cables are set up in the socket, if you cross refer to the headunit one where I also show the spades you can see that they don't match.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that!! Damn, ok thanks mate, I guess I'm going to have to go to an installation workshop then. I'll try once more tomorrow before resorting to that.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll test it out and let you know how it goes.

As for the fuse Lee, it won't have blown as the standard aura stereo works fine
