Alloy fitment

Guys,

Just bought my girlfriends old ibiza gti 16v back to run over the winter,

It has 15" alloys on it but I hate them (not original), My mate has a Mk2 golf GTI with 17" alloys which I really quite like and he want rid of them.

The question is will they fit my car offset wise, may also have a problem due to the fact the car was lowered when we first owned it (think it was 40mm but looks more like 60mm)

IIRC then fitment and offset should be fine, but obviously cant guarentee no rubbing.

they will fit, but it all depend son the exact offset and the amount of lowering, as to whether you'll get rubbing like Andy has said.

Ive got a feeling they will rub as its pretty damn low!

Suppose I will just have to try it first.
