Alhambra rear seats Q

Hi there,

I have had a good search through the forum, but not been able to locate anything that answers my questions.

I am looking to purchase a SEAT Alhambra as our current MPV is a :censored: money pit and I want rid.

I have found one for sale at a local dealer, but before we go and view/test drive etc. I wondered if anyone could answer a couple of questions about the rear passenger seats for me?

I have 5 children, the 4 older ones in HBB car seats and the baby in a stage 1 infant seat.
Do all the passenger seats have 3 point seatbelts - I have seen a few posts with only lap-belts mentioned as being fitted in the rear centre seat?

Do you have the ability to rear-face the seats? Currently we have the baby sat rear-facing still although he is in a forward facing car seat by being about to mount the seat itself backwards in the car.

Thanks for any replies and help

Chris

Thanks for the reply MarkWales, being able to rear-face the seats isn't a deal breaker, the baby is well over the weight limit to front-face but we'd just prefer him rear-facing still.

We will look at a new car seat for him instead.

Thanks

That's incorrect. The centre mid-row seatbelt is a normal lap and diagonal, but fed from the roof. All the rest are standard mounting.

Thanks DPJ :)

Off to see it this afternoon so hopefully it meets all my expectations.

Thanks

You (should) find that most Alhambra rear seats (all 5) have ISOFIX routings this is how i get away with putting my daughter rear facing in a forward facing seat as you do not need seatbelts to attach the child seat to the car seat.
You can pick these up pretty cheaply these days i will not ever go back to using a seat belt held car seat now as they are fantastic
The middle seat on the facelift models 2001 onwards have 3 point seat belt that as someone has said above is fed from the roof...
Hope that helps!
