I like splitters if they compliment the bumper, the LCR splitter works well with facelift and fabia vrs bumpers but not prefacelift and cupra's

Im not a fan of pre facelift bumpers with or without splitters not gona lie , I really just dont think the splitter is bad lol , I've got the center leveled out now so its the same height as the rest =./

I dont like the bumper without some kind of splitter and theres no other option so what can i do .. Looks odd without some kind of splitter too me

Same never hears anyone say they do not like them must be a new thing, ah they are just jealous they have not got a cupra bumper I would never have put one on my pre-facelift bumper was annoying having to buy new bumpers but when I bought my car in 2006 facelift was a brand new car so out of my league!

I've always said I don't like them on cupra bumpers as they just don't fit right. They look better on prefacelift bumpers than the cupra bumper and they actually sit flush. Cupra bumper has the Spats coming down either side so unless you make the centre of the splitter longer so the corners meet the spats it's always going to look naff. Maybe it's because I'm dead picky about mods looking right I dunno.

And I'm not jealous lol it's my old car that I sold the get a cupra, so I do have a cupra bumper

your not alone with your opinion scott,they do look good on fr bumpers though as the fr bumper is flat all the way along the bottom where as with the cupra bumper it leaves too many gaps each to there own though i still like to see them fitted to cupra bumpers just not mine.

what are you doing about them mirror caps alex are you keeping the carbon ones and sorting the silico reaction?

not if you catch it and rip the screws out lol . im not a fan of the spliters they just look stuck on and not part of the car and its just fake lows

Jeesh, you guys are hard work , I got new mirrors today until I can try fix the carbon ones . The other splitter is haveing the sides too the right and left of the centre sanded down so it sits flush along the little fin's the cupra bumper has

Well it is a Leon Cupra R splitter so lets just leave it there shall we! Most people don't even notice I have got facelift bumpers over pre unless they on on this or other Seat forum lol! You must be doing something right as this is a very active readers ride no one looks at mine lol!

Any more plans or leaving it to save some more money up for a bit?

id be happy with it.mines not perfect anyways plus its a bit of plastic not many people will notice it anyway really.alot of work as gone in to it and havin your hand in a cast makes things harder i bet

Oh and i re fitted the splitter today spits and look alot better , Too me anyway..
