Yeah was looking second hand , Could go reps but it just feels wrong! think ill just custom the wheels on it.. I like them anyway... Need to decide if i go gold inners and face or shadow chrome inners and gold outer

Yeah i show and shined it and they loved it but somehow i missed out on best seat to a red mk3 cupra with purple wheels? Everyone said i should of won it.. Was abit gutted as i think the car was in better nick and was all round better .. Oh well nothing i can do i suppose =/

Don't get down about it Alex, the show was probably rigged. All that matters is your car looks fooking awesome, the mutt's nuts, TBH I'd rather have yours than any Mk3...

Ta mate just a bit naff to lose to a car that i felt wasnt as nice and perfectly clean.. Really would not of cared if everyone had not come and said , Wheres the trophy then? Guesing you won.. Uh no.. Lost out to this..

Cars booked in for a the wheels to be sprayed now , Busy polishing the outside lip atm with a machine polisher .. Comeing up great ! Need to decide if i want to go all gold face and inside or leave the shadowchrome and just have a gold face?

Have you stripped the lacquer off the diamond cut rim then? Hope you don't end up fooking up a mint set of wheels after I drove 500 miles for them haha

Heres the pics trying to show what im saying inside of the rims are shadow.. Do i go all gold of just spray the faces?

I want chrome on the large outer rim then the small inside that leads up to the rims .. But just stumped on the insides!

glad to see this car is still looking awesome and i didnt think it would be possible to improve on it but the gold wheels really do work i normally hate gold wheels unless there on a williams clio.
cant help but think the stickers are what helped you not win the show and shine though each to there own though i guess.

just thinking with your carbon spoiler maybe where the number plate goes would look good done in carbon too.
keep up the good work your car is looking spot on.

No mate if i do it proper it will be done professionally just been out polishing it with the machine polisher and metal polish , They do look good but not mirror effect just yet just shiney.

I hope i dont either but i really think it will look great.. Tell me if im wrong =/

Cheers mate i just hope it works.. It ''should'' And no there were no stickers on for the show it was put on after the show and shine.. So i cant use that excuse.. Just not what they are looking for i guess
As for the carbon defuser i think its just too big a job as its plastic welded on and would be too hard to do without takeing it off , Otherwise id be all over it!

It seem's to of worked mate they are still diamond just the sun pops of them alot now , The metal polish was no use really we just went back to some meg's wax and polish and they came up mint with the machine polisher.

The rim and dish are staying as is for now and i will get the inners done with gold on the inside and outer along with the black and gold center caps.. I hope this works if i pull it off the car will look even more immence !

my argument at these show and shine is the car that win normally are trailered there and are second cars or show cars not daily drivers they should have separate classes. From driving up and down the motorway all the time in my old job my car is covered in stone ship no one else's in black is as bad as mine. Gonna get it resprayed next year as it is really bad.
