Ive never heard my alarm.....so i wound the window down halfway...locked the car via the fob (the led was flashing) then pulled the door pin by hand and nothing! The led was still flashing when i opened the door.
Do you think the previous owner disarmed the siren?
Any help greatly appreciated :D

This might sound like a daft question, but how quickly was the LED flashing?

When you first set the alarm, the LED flashes so that it is 'on' for about the same length of time as it is 'off' each time it flashes. If you open the door during this time, the alarm will not sound. After 10 seconds or so, the LED flashing changes so that it is 'off' for much longer than it is 'on' each time. Once it is in this state, the alarm should sound if the door is opened.

lock the drivers door while some has the passenger door open, then when they close the door the locks will open, but the light still flashes

then when they/you open the door it should ring soooo loud!

Lock the car with the windows down, wait 30 seconds lift the lever and open the door, it should go nuts. Can take upto 30 seconds to arm itself.

The alarms not a siren as such its blasts of the horn on a MK2, so if your horns working so should the alarm

This Is what I Do.

I Get In the Car, Lock it, and After 5 Minutes it Activates the Laser Sensors and Start to Scream Like a f****** Police Car Siren
