Alarm problems

My alarm is playing up.

the boot lid light is on when im driving but have checked th boot many times & is fine.

The alarm went off at 5am on sunday morning!!! I cant lock the car using the alarm as it beeps 4 times when locking (telling me the boot is open).

Im guessing there is a break in the circuit which is causing it, Has any 1 had similar probs before?

My alarm is a Scorpion Cat 1 alarm, its the standard alarm for a Cupra R.

Any info appreciatted....

are u 100% positive the boot is closing fully

not to the point where u cant pull it back up i mean proper latched on, as this has happened before where the boot wasnt closing fully and so the locking mechanism required adjusting (its a simple pin and clip which just needs tightening)

the boot lock on these cars is a pain in the arse
thats what id check first

hello every1, great site. it will be ur rear washer pipe leaking and will of caused the pins in the connector to corrode on the boot catch
