There should be a button on the pillar near the drivers seat. If you press that
before locking the car it will deactivate the alarm so if you had a dog or something still
in the car it will not set off the alarm.

Pressing the alarm button twice deavtivates the deadlock system

Pressing the pilar button deactivates the interior motion sensor, it doesn't switch the alarm off...

The reason I am posting this is I live on busy road and sometime my car's alarm goes off when scooby with bloody loud exhaust drive past it.

That's probably the interior sensors detecting a change in pressure. Press the button and it should sort you out. Not sure if the alarm senses movement of the car though... I know my dad's Passat will shout at you if you rock it hard enough.

Can you lock a leon Cupra without alarm?

Can you lock the car without the alarm?

Reason : Lazy de-icing - What I have been trying to do is, unlock car, start engine, lock with other key, go back inside, drink tea and then return to toasty warm frost free car. What happen is when I lock the car with the other key I walk off and the alarm goes off!! Any info would be great thanks.

To prevent the alarm from goin off.
when locking via fob, keep pressing lock till the led goes out, meaning it locked but alarm not actiavted.
If led is flashing and unlocking just by key. key twsiting the key so the light goes out. so when you open the door it wont go off.
This works for audi a3 but asume its the same leons. ive always done it via my fob

Thanks for the post Big Lad, I tried holding down the lock button on the remote but the LED keeps flasing. I also tried pressing the lock button twice which the manual states disarms the alarm and delocks, the LED keeps flashing.

Neither seem to work?

It says something about this on the user manual on page 2.27.
You normal have to make a few attempts for it to work

I've just tried the following :
1. Press the lock button on the remote twice in quick succession. - Alarm still activates
2. Press the lock button on the remote twice with a few secs. gap. - Alarm still ativates
3. Hold the lock button on the remote down for a few secs. - alarm still activates
4. Lock with the key - alarm still activates.
5. Press the lock button inside the drivers door and then close drivers door - car not locked.

What I have found that does lock the car with no alarm (what I was looking for). Is ..................... when the car is unlocked reach though the passenger door press the lock button inside the drivers door and close the passenger door. All doors now locked with no alarm!!

Big Lad thanks for the suggestions I will try with the remote again as this would be a little easier if I could get that to work.
