Alarm keyfob syncomizing with Ibiza.

I've just purchased a new alarm keyfob as mine broke. Does anybody know how you sync. a new fob with the car?

it says in the manual
turn on ignition
turn off and remove key
while holding one button press the other 3 times
then turn on ignition again

I've lost my manual whilst moving house so couldn't check and seat dealer wanted £50.00
