Air Con Help ?

hi all my air con gave up the ghost today the little AC light on the screen shows but no cold air, just the normal outside air temp

1) could this be due to it running out of coolent gas ??? as the car is now 4 years old and never be charged ??

2) is it fooked ?

could be your outside temp sensor, have u read wat temp its showing latey?

does the DIY Halfords regasing kits work, the ones with pressure guages with them for a whopping £30 ish

If it's anything like mine check the 30a fuse on the right side of the fuse box on top of your battery. Won't be blown but I get dry connections there quite often. Clean and re-seat the fuse, hopefully that will sort it. You will probably find it is stuck in quite stiff. Just give it a good yank with some pliers.

?? where is the air con refill nipple on the car Ibiza MK3 ??????

get it regased properly its only about £50 sqiud plus the old gas has got to be disposed of properly!
o and the gas is dangerous

does your engine fan kick in? because my air con aint working and neither is my engine fan

thats the fuses the air con and fans work off the same fuse on top of the battery

I've noticed that on mine recently e.g. 3pm yesterday it was showing 12 degree when it was showing 29degree in a car next to me. Where is the sensor located any ideas.

Under the passenger wing mirror. You'll see a little black thing sticking out, take the back plate off the wing mirror andput a new one in
£20 or so from seat
