air con gurgle

i was running my car the other day and i had the air con on low temp...nice and cold..
when i turned everything off i heard a gurgling sound...
i have only ever heard this when the air con is on.. and then turn it off..not sure if a time thing or something...and doesn't do it all the time at least i've not heard it.
i think it must be the air con as when its off the car doesn't do it and temp never goes above 90.. regardless of how long the engine runs for.

last time i heard this was on a courtasy van with air con that i had on and i turned the engine off it made the same gurgling sound...

any ideas what it could be.. air con is great but expensive to repair

mine does the same, but only when iv had the air con on...only noticed it the other day...clueless as to what it is though matey

Mine is the same. I had it checked out during my last service and it was found to be OK. Just seems a little noisy compared to other cars I have had with AC.

must be an air con thing...
