Got a baby on the way and i was wondering is there anyway of disconnecting the front airbag as obviously i cannot put baby in front seat whilst airbag is set in the on position ,please can somebody

Hi,
The Passanger airbag can be disabled.
It will need to be done at your dealer, as they will need to carry out some adaptions to the air bag e.c.u. It may also need a special resistor plug kit to be fitted onto the loom that goes to the airbag, this all comes in a kit which includes a disclaimer form which they will get you to sign, you keep a copy, the dealer keeps a copy and one is sent off to SEAT uk.
