Air bag light problem?

my airbaglight has came on and i got it plugged into a computer and it said *passenger side igniter resistance too high* any ideas wot this means and how i fix it?

Sorry no, though a mate of mine had his airbag liht come on after a service and eventually went in to have some other stuf looked at and the garage had no idea, just turned it off

check the wiring on the seatbelt pre tentioner under the passenger seat! if that doesn't fix it then its the wiring within the airbag its self so a new airbag is needed.

as above i had the same problem i pissed about with the wire under the seats and when i got the car remapped he cleared the airbag light and its never come back on

ive unplugeg the yellow connector and put it back in again and the fault still wont go away

it might take more than just plugging and unplugging check both sides of the connector for corrosion and check the wires going into the plug.maybe the airbag itself mate tho, in which case i think there about £600 from Seat so i would be trying to find a second hand one.
