ive got a ibiza 1.4tdi, mods coming along nicely but installed an aftermarket headunit today, all went well, but when the car is turned off the headunit loses its memory (radio channel presets - time - etc). ive heard 2 wires have gota be swapped any ideas??

removed the standard alana headunit and put a pioneer deh-p75bt out of my last car in.

Right well u shud search this has been coverd extensivley. but anyway baisicly you swap the red and yellow wire over (if I remember correctly) just get a iso to iso cable and do a bit of soldering (or get one with bullet connectors and swap em) baisicly you swap the permenant live with the ignition one. You may also want to include a aerial booster as well.

my dilmea ages ago all the answers in there
